Aaron the optician is fantastic, and lovely. Very chatty and upbeat, my appointment didn't feel rushed. He was extremely thorough, making sure the lenses he prescribed me were correct. I suffer from anxiety, although I don't come across as though I do. It's stopped me from making an appointment for a few years and this experience has really put me at ease. All staff are excellent and inviting

Had a fantastic experience with the team here at Armstrong & north. Optician Aaron was very professional, guided me through the process and made me feel completely at ease. The young lady at reception was excellent too. Guided me through all the available lenses and frames and gave me all the options I needed to ensure the glasses I ordered were the right ones for me. Would highly recommend.

Very poor customer experience. Felt miss sold too, and pressured. When we returned to discuss we were lied to, and they attempted to make us feel stupid. Their costs are ridiculous. Wanted to charge 60 for a childs contact lenses consultation. Boots however offer the exact same service for FREE. Wanted 160 for thinner lenses on a childs spectacle prescription. We have received a refund on this occasion, and bought our sons glasses elsewhere, where we have paid 20 for thinner lenses. Would not recommend.

Amazing service! From the moment I called and spoke to Gabrielle she was so helpful and accommodating as we discussed options for my daughters glasses who is 7 months old. We attended a fitting with the Optometrist who was so great with my daughter and was very informative explaining how the glasses would benefit her and help correct her squint. We had to order specialist glasses as she is so small & they were very helpful and took our NHS voucher. I had previously tried Specsavers who just tried to push their own glasses on us even though they were too big and not suitable. I would 100% recommend this optician Armstrong & North.
