Thank you we are now happier customers .
I'm writing this review on behalf of my mother who recently had new patio doors and 3 new windows fitted
From the 1st visit I was assured that Clearview treated ALL their jobs as though they were for themselves... WRONG
There was shoddy attention to making good around the frames (after it rained the cement kept getting washed out) & after 3 unsuccessful repair attempts I did the job myself ....no more crumbling cement!!
There were some screws badly fitted to the patio door.
There was a large gap under the patio door sill which was apparently acceptable to Creative View but not to me. Out of sight is not out of mind.
The rubber strip along the doorstep on the patio door has come away from the frame, is sticking up & is a trip hazard & unsafe for me going in & out, on investigation it appears it has been cut too short but C.V say this is nothing to do with them, it is a design fault & will not be resolved by them as it is the responsibility of the manufacturer, a fact I believe to be wrong.
I had 5 estimates & spent a lot of time comparing quotes & researching reviews. This company was in the middle of the others regarding cost & although they have some bad reviews after speaking with the MD I was persuaded they would do an excellent job.
Although I am happy with the windows & patio door, they are good quality and look smart, the outcome is very. very disappointing & any pleasure that I would have felt is diminished due to my experience with this company. I regret the immediate settling of my account as I feel CV have lost interest.
Speaking for myself now, I feel saddened & extremely upset for my Mum's experience. The way you treat your customers speaks volumes & to dismiss their concerns & treat them as an inconvenience is not the way to run a business (successful or not) However small your client's issues, they all ought to be treated as equally important because to the person who has paid a lot of money for your services they are important.
The 2 stars are for the product, not the service
PS. Make sure you confirm whether or not scaffolding will be necessary before your windows are fitted.
