Taking me from A1 to A2 level Spanish and beyond, including helping me prepare for (and pass) my A2 level DELE exam, my lessons with Fiona have been tailored to my needs, engaging, and above all effective! They have definitely prepared me for conversational use of Spanish in both professional and personal settings (conferences and holidays in Central America). Fiona taught me a decent level of business Spanish over three years from absolute scratch. With her help, I was able to converse sufficiently with the banks and suppliers in my job. I have been having Spanish lessons with Fiona for a few years now. I already had a good level of Spanish but needed someone who I could practice with and who could help me prepare for business meetings and giving presentations in Spanish which is something I hadn't done before. Fiona is great and she always shows an interest in what I am trying to achieve and takes time and care to tailor our lessons to suit my needs and this has increased my proficiency and confidence in the language. She is friendly and puts you at ease very quickly and is incredibly patient too. I would recommend her to anyone looking to further their language skills at any level.

Fiona has largely improved my daughters test scores in Spanish. Abigail took her Mid-Year examinations in January of year 8 and received a 36%. Three months later after Abigails continued struggle with the language, we found Fiona through a mutual recommendation, and after just three weeks of being tutored by Fiona, Abigail had a Secondary examination(End of years) and received a 77%. I have spoken to my daughter about how her Spanish has improved and she genuinely has gotten more confident within all aspects. She often tells me about how Fiona has been her saviour due to the subject being compulsory at her school. Further more, Abigail at the start of year 8 -end of year 9 was working at low set 4/ high set 5(lowest set) and now she has been placed in middle set(set 3) and working towards moving up. She feels up to date/ ahead of her peers, and is now fully enjoying learning. Abigail used to frequently complain about Spanish, and now she is often telling me about how lessons are much more enjoyable now she can understand the lesson and is working at a faster pace. Fionas teaching of grammar has also significantly helped her in English. I honestly cannot thank Fiona enough!

I worked with Fiona over a couple of years and had a great experience. The learning was intuitive and tailored to my needs. It culminated in me taking and passing the DELE B1 exam in Spanish. Overall, a great experience! :-)
