        My wife and I had our wedding reception at the river lodge and it was the perfect venue for a slightly smaller and more intimate reception. The location is perfect being right next to Trent and makes for beautiful photographs. The venue itself is great, modern and warm and the staff were helpful and attentive throughout the day. The staff were also great leading up to the event and communication was smooth and nothing was too much to ask. The food was amazing, we went with the ultimate bbq and had great feedback from our guests. All in all the lodge is a great pick for a unique reception venue and is very affordable also. Would recommend to anyone and could not speak more highly of it.

        Great staff and service. Because it's all timber and hard surfaces can get very very loud when full of people trying to talk over each other. But the view is worth it. And have I mentioned the lovely staff?
