In terms of service and quality of product, I honestly do not know where to begin. Barrington Ayre were genuinely perfect from start to finish. Being a bigger bloke, and having extreme anxiety about clothes and fitting in general, I was very nervous on my first visit. Tom was completely at ease though, and made me feel very welcome in his store. He talked me through the process and even answered my rather basic questions (I literally knew nothing about tailoring). Nothing was an issue, compared to some other companies I had enquired with who certainly could pick up some customer service tips from Tom. Contact throughout was seemless (apart from catching Tom on his holiday - Sorry!), and the mid-fitting was also a doddle. The final product, I was rather speechless. I've never felt so good in any form of clothing before. It was tailored beautifully. Wearing such a quality item made me feel amazing on my wedding day. I cannot thank Barrington Ayre enough for their work here, and they will absolute be getting repeat business from me. Service: Formal wear tailoring

I approached Tom to make me a suit for a new job. Tom sold me a bespoke made to measure 2 piece suit worth 695. I paid 345 upfront. The suit was weeks late. I had no contact or fitting throughout the process of the suit being made. When the suit arrived it was appallingly small in all measurements. Tom had had nothing to do with the making of the suit and had outsourced it to somewhere in Leeds. Tom assured me he could alter the suit to fit. I even had to take a suit I already owned to outline a decent fit. There was absolutely no way this suit could be adjusted. I decided a full refund was the only way forward. I could not get hold of Tom to discuss my refund. After a strongly worded voice mail he eventually sent me a message outlining that he refused to give me a full refund and said he would have to withhold his costs. I have had to go through trading standards and the bank to get my money back. I am still in this process and thus far Tom has refused to respond to any letters or correspondence. I would strongly discourage anybody thinking of using this tailor.
