We vsited Rugrats today. It is an amazing place to visit with children. Lots to do and plenty of space. Facilities are spotlessly clean and equipment is well maintained. It is obvious that continued investment is put in to ensure both the upkeep of the place and also adding new and exciting features for the children to engage with. One example is the new interactive wall 'Arena'. The players throw balls at an interactive wall to score. The only criticism I would have is that there is no signage at this new feature. Adults were playing in there and throwing the balls very hard, one of which hit my 9 year old daughter in the face. Surely the equipment should be for children only (with help given by the adult if needed)? There were also older children and adults playing football in the arena which is not safe for others. Signage needs to be in place detailing that is is not a football pitch and not suitable for adults. Other signage is more obvious but even this is not adhered to by some. My 1 year old was knocked over by a dad and son (poss around 10 years old) playing tag in the area designated for under 3s. The staff were very helpful and tried their best to reinforce the rules but much of this fell on deaf ears unfortunately. Maybe more staff monitoring the activities rather than all being at the cafe counter would deter those adults and children who choose not to follow the rules.
