Been a member for a few weeks now and enjoying it, the staff are wonderful and very helpful. The cleanliness is on point! The price for bottled water is a bit steep especially when the water fountain in the sauna & Steam room wasn't working.. dehydration comes into mind with the extreme heat. The lockers need replacing in the swimming changing area as some doors are missing or hanging off! The relaxing room in spa needs some tranquility music in background to help relax. I would give it 5 if you slap a nice jacuzzi hot tub in the spa

Excellent gym ,but don't get misled by its website listing incorrect opening times over holiday periods. Just had to renew my annual sub's . Takes a lot to surprise me these days ,but the cost was less than last year! And what with the continuing free parking its almost unbelievable . Worth every penny.

Been coming here for years, but recently been thinking about ending my membership. The facilities are there, just not always working. Greeted by the slowest sliding door which doesn't help. The system to book was down all morning. I was hoping to book a lunch swim. I can't ever get through to reception. I've tried 4 times over a few hours today and left a voicemail on the first call. Never got through and or call back. The pool is good if you can get in, but the lane discipline lacks, and when it's busy, it's stress you could do without. Sauna is great. Popular and well sized. Steam room is in dire need of a restoration. Infused oils would go a long way and replacing the plastic single mould construction for something a little more inviting. Relaxation area is adequate. Could put some mellow spa background music on....showers are adequate. Would benifit from soap dispensers as it is an upgraded area. The gym is great. Recently refurbished with good equipment. Could do with a little more space for mat exercise work. The classes are great if you can get a booking on them. Spin class has people booking over a week in advance and only at the last moment do people pull out which can be frustration if you want to plan to go after work. On a few occasions recently, the boiler has packed up and the pool and showers are closed which is frustration. Whilst hiking the price up 5 a month. Which is my encouragement to stop the membership. The staff are all lovely and friendly. Always a pleasure to chat to. Hoping this can be seen as constructive criticism and not a moan. We should be pushing for folk to get healthy and active, but at the same time, making it a pleasure invites people to join.

Decided to go swimming here one afternoon and was told I have to come back for lane swimming at the most ridiculous times. You also get timed as pay for 1 hour! which staff inform you about in a way of saying you must be out. Not bad price to get in but changing area floor, lockers benches and shower area was unclean to say the least so who knows what the swimming pool is like. Also when you do get in for lane swimming it is usually full up with others in all lanes which was very annoying. Awful inside layout for a leisure centre too and not very welcoming.
