We stayed at the Fleece for our wedding with our family and friends and had the most wonderful experience. The team went above and beyond to accommodate us and our guests. The hotel, rooms, bar area and food were brilliant and our guests were very happy. Thank you again for making our stay brilliant!

Friendly, genuine staff. Good food, which is pretty reasonably priced. I can't comment on the rooms, but the chicken burger and sausage n mash was good and pint was alright too. Worth a look if ur in the area... they were open, for food, in the afternoon when others had stopped at 14.30.

We came to the Fleece with our friends and a dog and honestly, we had higher expectations... The food was average at best. The classic burgers were dry. The pinot grigio was served lukewarm. When I asked for ice in the cooler, I was brought a glass of ice...so I guess the best I could do is dilute my wine with ice cubes. One of the waiters was very young and inexperienced and clearly couldn't be bothered. Dropped stuff, sighed, etc... The cherry on top was when I asked for some ketchup and mayo from the lady at the front...who, in a very tight upper lip, said "We asked you earlier and you said no..." Followed by a fake nervous smile. Like what kind of response is that...? First of all, we are allowed to change our mind or ask for additional things during our meal. Second of all, this patronising response was totally uncalled for and frankly plain rude. To add to that, the table for four was smaller than an American diner table where we had to squeeze like sardines. No coat hooks so basically had to sit on top of our coats too. Suffice to say, this is not the finest of Cotswolds establishments and doesn't even aspire to be.
