Mike Wright surveyed my house for me and he was excellent. He phoned me to give me a breakdown of his findings then issued a very concise, prompt report which gave me a list of suggested programmes of works which was very helpful. I had several follow up calls, with questions, that Mike was very knowledgeable about and he sent me really useful documents and advise. I would highly recommend James Slater & Co.

We used James Slater & Co to purchase our first property. Although we were buying in Bristol, this was not a problem, and a surveyor was assigned to us very quickly. We received a detailed report, as well as a phone call from said surveyor the day of completing the survey. The phone call drew our attention to the most relevant findings of the report, as well as offering suggestions to resolve some small issues with the property. Communication was fantastic and turnaround was extremely quick. We would thoroughly recommend using James Slater & Co.

James Slater is a client of mine whom I have know for 20+ years. His firm oversaw the renovation of another clients renovation project of a semi-derelict Grade 2 Listed Farmhouse which we ended up buying. Latterly we wanted to change the access and build a boundary wall which planners initially declined. James Slater Surveyors made recommendations, produced detailed drawings, liaised with planners and obtained consent for us. They hand-held all the way through the project and the end result is we got what we wanted and the planners were happy too as the property has benefited from these positive changes. I was introduced to James Slater by one of his long-standing clients and in turn have been pleased to refer the firm to clients and friends.
