THE PAST COUPLE OF TIMES I HAVE BEEN GREETED WITH AN EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL AND RUDE YOUNG LAD BEHIND THE COUNTER. IT HAS PUT ME OFF COMING HERE AGAIN. HIS ATTITUDE TOWARDS CUSTOMERS IS APPAULING.

Opening times are completely wrong. Drove 10 miles to find the post office was closed and had been for hours. Please update your times.

Awful, rude staff members that will make up rules on the spot if they disagree with what your shipping, regardless of what their website says on the matter. I had one particular member of staff that chewed me out twice for a box that was 2mm over the small parcel size limit (as in I did this once, fixed the issue, came back a few days later, and she still poked fun at it). This same staff member (along with another older woman) proceeded to make up rules to stop me from shipping any of my sold items (including similar items going to the UK that they had accepted only a few days before). I checked royal mail's website to find that the rules they were spouting off to me didn't exist, the ladies I talked to made it all up on the spot. I paid for a delivery driver to pick up my parcels and he did so without hassle. If either of those women are reading this (which I highly doubt) my American buyers have indeed received their 'banned' items through both UK and American customs offices and are over the moon with them. I'd recommend avoiding this office and just paying the extra 60p online for a local delivery driver/post person to pick up your parcels if you can, they're so much nicer and don't make fun of you or make up fake rules on the spot. This branch really is just a last resort for people who don't have online access/a printer. The only saving grace is that some of the staff can be nice, but these two women are a complete off put and are not worth the hassle.
