As Regional Head,I rent alot of cars in many Countries.But this experience with BudgetCar,Victoria,London under Sharlene St Albin,ended with Catastrophe & totally ruined our Vacation. A Rude,Arrogant,Brash Manager,Sharlene St Albin,was manipulative, give me 2 Faulty Cars,wanted me to pay Extra for Non-Faulty Car.Load me with Higher Excess,contradicting their website.Load me with Additional Charges like a Blank Check.Did not reply emails on the Disputes.They dont care about Client Relation & their Reputation. Sharlene get me signed on a SmallCoupe Contract instead of the small SUV I booked.She then Offer me small SUV,with Navigation broken.All new cars comes with GPS today & I need to get to the country. Service guy said it should work outside the multistorey carpark poor signal but I drive out & it still Didnt Work! Back to Manager,she rudely said that I have to pay extra GBP13 per day for 8days if I want a working GPS?!! Providing a Client with faulty car and demanding more money to get it working?!! Stopping Disputacious Sharlene,I took the previous coupe but Again the GPS was Broken as well! Both car has Broken GPS,wasted more than an hour and I told her I take the faulty SUV to the country. Many days I chased for the SUV Revised contract, she finally emailed me,unsigned. Unfortunately,car was rear-ended in the country with minor damage to number plate light. I took photos,particulars and made police report who said Im clear of Fault as it was Rear-Ended. Reported to Sharlene quickly with All these info.Again, the brash Manager was nasty disrespectful rudely treat me like a Criminal & threaten with Higher Excess Charges. I returned the car 1Day Earlier and she continued to be blunt with ill-mannered argument about the minor damage.Other staff went to inspect the damage,show me her record on her phone and made me sign 1page(not full details) on her phone.I left. I realised that I have signed a blank cheque where all additional charges were added! But They didnt Refund my EarlyReturn cost. Their Website indicate Excess of 1,000 for the Car Category I but they charge me GBP1,500 anyways. MY INITIAL RENTAL was Only GBP382.19 ! They have not responded to my many emails,like other Reviews here as well.This is My Worst & Only Rude Experience with ,BudgetCar Rental Victoria,Sharlene St Albin,like others providing similar Review. The WeekBefore I actually rented Premium Vehicle with RoadSurf in Scotland,with the most Polite,Organised,Smooth & Honest engagement. In Most Organizations,Sharlene be Fired already for having Many Complaints on her Client handling and Poor rating on the Website. I will not be engaging with them anymore,sharing my Disastrous Experience. PS:Got their reply from other site to feedback w No Email or Contact, signed w just PS(Who is PS?)

AWFUL experience. STAY AWAY! The manager Sharlene Saint-Albin is a real nightmare to deal with, doesn't know company policies, and lacks any sort of professionalism. She would not allow me to get the vehicle due to lack of documentation although all the documents requested were provided. She spent the majority of the time dealing with me taking calls and did not make any eye contact or even smile once throughout. She ended up cancelling my reservation which I had booked a week in advance and left me stranded without being able to find another car hire. Another customer she dealt with in front of me had a very simple and direct query to do with being overcharged and I could understand the whole situation hearing him explain repeatedly but her maths skills were so poor she couldn't deal with the situation at all and just kept going round in circles. Definitely not a competent manager. Otherwise the remainder of the staff were polite and pleasant.

Kristoph was incompetent, really ruined our trip to the UK by cowardly placing hidden charges our card after we left. I would never trust them with any form of business again. What makes it worst is the manager sharlene saintalbins will protect her staffs mistakes and make you pay for them. I am hoping this branch in Victoria coach station quickly closes so Avis Budget can rebuild its reputation again and become somewhat trust worthy

I rented the car for about 17 days. It brought me to many places and unforgettable memories of my UK trip. Most of all, it got me around safely. It is an excellent car to drive, but Budget could have checked on tyre pressure and key fob battery before releasing the vehicle. I had pumped air for four tyres twice (the first time, tyre pressure was 20PSI or more below the recommended - warning lights won't go away even after). There was also a warning of low battery for the key fob. I couldn't get in the car once because of the low battery and had to get the battery (from Argos) replaced. I returned the car a week ago (sent for a wash and easy return) and am still waiting for my deposit. Would I rent again from Budget? Yes! Budget is behind the National Express coach station (easy to and fro Heathrow).
