Went for Sunday meal. Don't do any food only carvery. No childrens meals only a spag bol or chicken strips. Yorkshire puddings were burnt to a crisp. Won't go again

I met the owners today, as guests of the restaurant I manage. They were lovely people! So I took my partner and baby for a visit to their pub straight after my shift to have a look. On first glance, the decor and furnishings were a bit worn and dated, but it was clear that the first stages of refurbishment were focused on the right key areas. The toilets and kids play area were new and tidy. You could see people working on the outside areas too, making improvements. The smell coming from the food in the kitchen was incredible as well! The grounds were huge and packed with activities, with great views. The beer was well looked after and tasted great, reasonably priced too. Overall, its seems like this pub is on the right path to achieving great things. Definitely somewhere I will keep visiting and enjoy supporting. Cant wait to try the food!
