Equilibrium Sports Massage

After years of running, hill and mountain walking, knee problems are inevitable. Descents had become so painful I was dreading them. Jan very quickly located the source of the problem which thankfully was easily treatable. I have just returned from a 100 mile walking trip across hill and dale virtually free from the knee pain that I had been experiencing earlier in the year. Thank you.

I often have back trouble and usually suffer in silence. Jan made me comfortable to allow him to work on me and it was the best thing I ever did. Jan is kind, caring and is very professional in what he does. He explains things as he is working and is incredibly reassuring to make sure he isn't hurting you. I will always go to Jan for my muscle aches and pains.

I had a short course of massage to help relieve some tightness in my hamstrings, caused from too much walking and no stretching. From the first meeting, I could tell that Jan knew what he was doing. Not only did he tell me what my treatment would be, but he explained the reasoning behind it, and how I could keep my legs in better condition in the future. Everything is done with politeness and care. The massage itself is done within a calming atmosphere, with exactly the right amount of pressure. I felt better from that first treatment. I would recommend anyone that has any problem - from a small niggle to acute pains.

I went to see Jan with a pulled neck muscle which had been causing me pain & headaches for a couple of weeks & was preventing me from working properly. I was off the painkillers the next day & 2 days after the session I am back to normal. He set me exercises to help with the healing & explained what he had done & why. I'll be back to see him if I need any treatment in the future!
