        Everything about Victoria House is 5*, from the gorgeous courtyardesque garden to the staff and the decor. The bed was super comfy, rooms really clean and the staff were just so welcoming. You can walk out the front door and be in the hills in no time but you can also hop on a train into Shrewsbury with ease. I wouldnt hesitate to reccomend!

        We spent three days here in March. We were made so welcome, bed comfy and must be the cleanest hotels I have been in. This is no small feat in an old building. Breakfast varied and delicious. I am not going to recommend a room as I want to go back soon and I want that room. A big thank you to all the hard working staff. A small warning for the area. You need to book dinner in the nearby pubs. Even in March these were busy with good food and service. We were restricted to pubs as we have a dog. Great walking from the hotel. Enough to meet the most demanding dog and owner.
