Just had a lovely meal here. The chicken, ham and leek pie was delicious and the dauphinois potatoes were the best Ive eaten. Staff were lovely. Only downside was we had to wait a bit between courses even though we were the only ones in the restaurant side but we were luckily in no rush. I was especially looking forward to the dessert as Sticky toffee pudding is my all time fave and the reviews on here said it was divine. For me I was let down, it was too stodgy and datey with hardly any sauce! I left it and Im a pudding person so that says a lot. Despite this I would love to return as the menu has lots we would like to try, staff were lovely and it looks fresh and modern inside.

Brilliant food and service, flat iron steak was perfect, sticky toffee pudding was divine, our favourite restaurant in the area by far. Thanks for a lovely evening, Guy & Jo
