Me and my partner Emma arrived the day this site first opened after lockdown in our VW T5 which was our first trip out as-well, The owners were still getting the site ready with toilets and shower. We had neither in our van may i add. However the owners were so chatty and apologetic about it all, they worked late on to get the toilet finished which is back to basic and I for one wasnt feeling the whole compost toilet experience either. LOL. But we were the first to use it and to be fare it was ok, yes the water for drinks is down a bit of a hill but some sites it is a trek, it is what it is in my book and all part of the experience. Not the most level ground in places but you can pitch where ever you want which is great. Yh views are amazing 360 degrees of pure beauty. We will return next year. Rome wasnt built in a day remember, things take time and everything is a learning curve. Fareplay to the owners who were lovely to opening this campsite I say. Best of look see you next year.
