I needed a hotel close to Paddington and this one fit the bill. I paid a little over 80 for one night's stay (Saturday to Sunday) which for London was reasonably priced. The room was en-suite which is what I always look for first, the bed was reasonably comfortable and the room was clean and tidy. The decor was a bit dated and is in need of refurbishment. I was in room 408 and would strongly recommend someone looking into the electrics under the TV because they were buzzing a hell of a lot when in use. I would give the shower 5* as it was perfect. The temperature was right and the pressure was awesome. Breakfast was okay to be honest. Nothing to write home about, but it filled the gap. Toast, croissants, pain au chocolate, boiled eggs, fruit, various cereal, yoghurts, cheese, coffee (not the best), orange juice (awful) and apple juice. The location! Yes it's in an ideal place to visit various attractions in London! Yes it's in a dodgy location! Yes a Police Officer asked me if I was okay as to him I stood out a bit (I'm guessing he politely meant I'm white in a predominantly Persian (ish) area)! There are car horns constantly going off and shouting in the street which is completely out of the hotels control. I would recommend trying out some of the local restaurants in and around the hotel as the food is lush. Would I stay again .... I probably would to be fair! 3* from me.

Walkability: Cloe to tube but for those not able to walk far buses run from practically outside. Marble arch close by. Food & drinks: Shops and restaurants/takeaways nearby
