I always say it how it is Great old proper pub with nice atmosphere fun landlady and landlord and superb food everything we wanted , we will be back .

The Artichoke is perfectly located in the heart of Christow, with a great bar and nice patio and lovely old building. I left my special sunglasses and rung up two days later and theyd been handed into the bar; a testament to the kindness of the patrons and the owners - purrrrfect!

Proper village pub feel to it, and that's meant in a very positive way. We were 'out of towners ' on holiday but the welcome we got was lovely. Thanks so much and we hope to see you all again one day!

The Artichoke is perfectly located in the heart of Christow, with a great bar and nice patio and lovely old building. I left my special sunglasses and rung up two days later and theyd been handed into the bar; a testament to the kindness of the patrons and the owners - purrrrfect!
