I had an appointment today, I usually use a typical high street big brand, no names mentioned but Phillips & Edgworth gave me an appointment within a week compared to over a month. I have never met such a dedicated and sincere optician!. My mother has suffered with Glaucoma for years but I have always been charged for my eye tests and I'm a little clueless as before today my eye sight has been perfect. Before I was told I needed 3 year tests but today it's yearly with a full explanation and a booklet and it was free. Everything was so different today, so much information, so much more professional than I have experienced before. I did not even pay for my eye test..which in some respects I'm not used to but the service was amazing and I will recommend

I've been with this practice since I was at school (many moons ago. Ok, it was the 80's! - so 1 or more years ago! ). Always reliable, helpful friendly. I did go elsewhere once to a very well-known national company, but nothing compares to these peeps. They give a wonderful professional service and make you feel like a valued customer and not another number. From the lovely Reception staff to the Optician & Glasses fitter. Thank you .
