Went for the first time yesterday not too bad mainly small roach carp didn't make an appearance maybe in the warmer months it would be better. Overall half decent place although 10 a day ticket is a little steep for what's on offer

Not fished the Groves for afew years now and revisited it last week with my Father. After moving swims we settled down in pegs 3+4. Started the day on the waggler with 6lb line, fishing pellet and corn on size 14barbless and it was None stop fishing. 6 roach to 1 rudd fish a chuck all day. Over 100 caught easily. Early evening picked afew carp off on floater gear. Worth a tenner all day. I wiil be back
