What can I say, this post box has helped me out of a few tricky fixes in my time. Once I leaned on it to do some stretches during a run. And another time I posted something. Every post box, in my opinion, is a triumph of humanitys ability to cooperate and a dolmen of progress and hope. This one looks especially good in the snow.

The Royal Mail post pillar box in Chorleywood at the T-junction of Hubbards Road with Chorleywood Bottom road. It's ideally placed for the local pedestrians but not so good for passing motorists. It's surrounded by double yellow lines except for a few spaces opposite it on Hubbards Road. I've identified the box as Chorleywood Bottom, not Hubbards Road (where it's actually sited), because Google refused to recognise the name Hubbards!
