Dad moved in (as a one month respite in mid October 2022) it was to see if he liked it and if he would like to stay. 24 hours later he told me he loved it and wanted to stay. I told him Id ask him again after 3 weeks and if he still wanted to stay we would make arrangements. He is so happy there, its been almost 4 months and hes busy doing armchair exercises, scrabble, choir, painting etc which makes it easier for me on the days when I cant visit. Hes been poorly twice since hes been there and although Ive visited him twice on those days the care has been second to none. I know without fail the care team will contact me if they are concerned. Everyone there is so friendly and caring both to him and myself, it really is like dad and I now have a large extended signature family and I cannot thank any of them enough.
