Heronsmere Home Care

We first contacted Heronsmere HomeCare in November 2018, when it had become apparent that my mother needed night time care. The lovely manager Harriet Davis came straight round to meet and discuss our needs and within 24 hours, a regular team of carers had been put in place. We still have our same principal carer, the wonderful Joanne in attendance to this day and that continuity of care is so important, as Mums memory is deteriorating now and she would find it most confusing if different people were sitting with her through the night. All the staff we have encountered have been the perfect combination of efficiency and kindness and we are so grateful for their continuing assistance.

Heronsmere provided live in care for my dear Dad for more than two years. It meant that we could keep him at home where he wanted to be. The carers treated Dad as if he were their own. Their kindness, compassion, patience and professionalism made his last couple of years as good as they could be. They were a huge support to our whole family and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Throughout everything they encouraged and shared Dad's sense of humour, bringing lots of laughs during difficult times. They are a great choice for either live in care or for drop in sessions during the day.
