I am the Co-Chair of the Board of the Cheetah Conservation Fund UK, a voluntarily run charity with the objective of raising awareness of the plight of the cheetah and raising money to support the work of the Cheetah Conservation Fund HQ based in Namibia. Alex joined our fledgling voluntary team over two years ago and he has been such a source of support, I don't know what we would have done without him. He has helped to transform CCF UK in so many ways. These include i) re-building our website in Wordpress which has increased functionality so we can now include twitter feed, blogs and photo galleries to name but a few; ii) managing the regular updates to the website; iii) managing mail outs to CCF UK's supporters; iv) creating an online shop and managing purchases; v) providing graphic design with Photoshop for CCF UK trifold brochures, business cards and our Logo; vi) setting up a new database using Salesforce and ongoing management; vii) researching and obtaining reduced costs for website hosting and PayPal transaction costs; viii) and Search Engine optimisation. The impact of his work has been enormous, increasing the visibility of the charity and helping us build a more professional image. And it has all been done with a fast turnaround (despite the fact that Alex had many other work committments), with a cheerful can do attitude and a smile. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Alex Buxton has been doing our website since 2002. He always uses the latest technology so advertising is a thing of the past for us. Its all done via our website and because of the way Alex has made the website were always #1 on a Google search.
