        Very nicely renovated friendly staff food was lovely. But I felt menu was a bit limited, and expensive. If there had been more choices at realistic prices, I would have given 5 stars.

        Had dinner there the other night and had the filet steak and scallops. I am very happy with the food, and it is probably the best gastropub in the area after the decline of the Carpenters Arms in Sunninghill. Interestingly, they still cook their chips in beef dripping. Long may this continue! I have a mild but annoying allergy to vegetable oils (also, they are terrible for you), so I am grateful I know a restaurant that can cater to that. I have added them to the Seed Oil Scout app, which rates restaurants on whether they use vegetable oils or not (best being ones that don't).
