Cleanslate

After more than 2.5 years of purchasing a flat from Cleanslate i am still chasing for items/snags that got picked up prior to handover to get closed out! No response to emails. Getting ignored constantly. Promissing on Getting items closed out but fails to action. Never seen a more unreliable/unprofessional developer. Once you purchase the property, you are not treated as a valuable purchaser any longer. Complete lack of care and attention. I can't give them less than 1 star unfortunetly, otherwise i would have. Still chasing my items to get closed out. So will update on any changes when it does actually get done!

Nothing but trouble, I regret buying from this company! First it started with months being added to the first completion date and then not completing until the day before the long stop date. We even gave them two extra weeks after completion to make it perfect. They tell you everything you want to hear but dont be fooled like me as they dont seem to stick to what they say. I had 182 snags found on my home with this list growing everyday. The snags include poor paint work to waste water coming out of the shower drain when flushing the toilet! The roof was leaking, blocked drains, a needle in the top soil etc. the list does not end. When they do fix something it typically takes them four attempts. They have no emergency contacts, only the site managers and it was hard enough getting his number. They leave your home and garden a mess. The managing director doesnt seem to care about how the company is run and seems to think they do nothing wrong at all. Even tells you he isnt avoiding questions yet when he tells you he will contact you he never actually does even when you leave him voicemails. Sad to say Id rather stay at work than come back to this house. Do not make the same mistake as me, this could have just been bad luck but I really dont think so! Not even 1 star.

I bought a property from Cleanslate in 2021. Dealing with SME housebuilders is never the easiest, I know from previous experience! However, I have to compliment the team at Cleanslate for their concern over one or two minor snagging issues that we had, and their responsiveness is dealing with the related problems. Not that difficult to resolve to be fair, but they were quick, friendly and got it done. Thanks

This I the best build company I have ever experienced! Their service is excellent, they are always easily contactable and happy to provide updates and answer my many questions throughout the whole process. On every visit I've made they have been welcoming and friendly and happy to accomodate me. I have always felt truly valued as an individual, nothing was ever too much trouble. They have been honest and transparent throughout and despite challenges outside of their control they have worked above and beyond to overcome them to ensure I could complete in time. I would 100% recommend!

Note to any buyers of Cleanslate properties, Residents at their development in Ashford have been waiting on snagging issues dating back to 2019 which Cleanslate haven't addressed even in 2021. The property management also hasn't been great, maybe average at best.
