Horseshoe Shepherds Hut, Farriers

Had a fabulous break at the "Horse shoe shepherds hut." The property was stunning and exceeded our expectations and was fully equipped. Like home from home. The hot tub was a bonus. Nikki and Spence were very friendly and gave us some great information on the local area and things to do.

We are in the car on the way home from the most amazing three night break in horseshoe farriers chittlehamholt. We were very sad to leave. Everything about the accomodation, facilities, village and surrounding area and the owners and their hospitality was awesome. All the lovely little details, luxurious features and generous gifts made it feel so blissful and romantic. So many things exceeded our expectations despite having been very excited and prepared for the trip. The shepherds hut was much bigger and taller inside than I was expecting and really high spec. The area is wonderfully sleepy and peaceful with pretty country walks on the doorstep, loads of wildlife and we hardly saw anyone out on the footpaths not like walking in gloucestershire. The birdsong and wild flowers are beautiful. The hot tub was heavenly. The village pub was warm, welcoming and served delicious food very efficiently. We enjoyed log fires inside and in the orchard, we had a BBQ ( very easy to use) and a picnic in a v picturesque spot half an hours walk away. Everything was such a treat and it was really lovely to meet Nikki and Spence too who seem like really great and interesting people and who have found the perfecting hosting balance between friendliness and perfect privacy. Absolutely amazing! Such a perfect shepherds hut for a chilled out weekend away. It has everything you could possibly need from hot tub to fire pit and of course lovely hosts.

The most beautiful setting. Peaceful and tranquil. The accommodation is immaculate. Comfortable bed and lovely decor. Hot tub is bliss.

What a brilliantly amazing extended weekend away. My partner and I had the most relaxing time and loved being in the middle of the countryside. It made both of us slow down and stop for a few days before returning to the madness at home. The hosts were so accommodating and had thought of everything when it comes to furnishings/utilities in Horseshoe and the tasteful decor is second to none. For anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, with a relaxing hot tub, local pub serving delicious food, fantastic hosts and greenery at every glance, Horseshoe is a must!
