Probably my favourite place to take our dog. Really stunning grounds and lots to explore. Only the formal gardens near the glasshouse and the cafe require dogs on leads. A stunning place with or without a dog. A nice spot for a picnic by the lake with the beautiful house in the background. A nice balance of formal and woodland landscaping which is beautifully maintained. So nice to walk around and not see any litter which is surprising as I couldnt see any regular bins anywhere, just dog waste bins which people unfortunately decide to balance their used coffee cups on! I wonder why they dont provide any bins.
