I wanted to counter some of these bad reviews as I have found the nurses at this surgery the best I've experienced at any GP. Nurse Fiona was wonderful and made what can be stressful appointments a pleasant experience. And it is so nice to see the new nurses (Nurse Melissa in particular) who are taking the reins following Fiona's retirement having the same level of compassion, good humour and genuine passion for their jobs which makes these tough times so much easier. No GP surgery is perfect (hence the 4 stars), but if it was for the nurses alone it would be a 6.

Waited 2,5 hours on the phone to ask advice about my baby developing a rash and gave up / called 111 instead.

Terrible service, with doctors like this, it is no surprise the NHS is suffering. I called to request an emergency Ventolin, they told me they are closing in 10 mins and to go to Emergency.

I have had some really lovely experiences at this surgery and Ive had some not so good ones, but todays experience has really put me off. I had a doctor that seemed completely annoyed by my presence, it felt like she was interrogating me and I ended up getting very teary and flustered because I felt like I just couldnt say anything right. When I left I started crying because my anxiety was so bad and overall I dont really want to book an appointment there again. She even said at one point I didnt mean to have a go and basically implied I needed to get over myself because everyone has been unwell at the moment. Overall she was very short with me and patronising- I also tried to provide context by talking about my past health issues and she only wanted to know about now- it wasnt even a serious issue that I went there for but I just feel she handled it really poorly and its just left me feeling worse mentally. Wish I hadnt even bothered. EDIT: Having spoken to reception about this issue, they were incredibly helpful and I was also informed I saw a stand in doctor, so at some point I will delete this review as it might not be fair to the surgery, but I think other people can read it to be made aware.
