Just do not hire. I had to literally fire them midway through the works. They're interested in taking your money (and you'll be greatly overcharged for simple things) and nothing else. Not only have they started late (they literally didn't show on the first day), after that they'd show whenever it was convenient for them. I had work to be done that depended on them that couldn't be finished because they delayed their bit (so, extra charges for me). The work that they did was not even close to being satisfactory - the electrician I hired to finish part of their job was literally shocked with how bad the work was. Some examples: the socket they added for the new hood didn't even have a connection, I have a crack on my kitchen wall already, less than a month after theyve been gone, because they didnt put the net that avoids cracks on it, and Ill probably have to open the ceiling of my bedroom because they dont seem to have added the soundproofing material that was supposed to go inside, and Ive paid very dearly for!! Also, clearly they weren't even planning on finishing the job (they literally stopped showing, and there was no planning done for the most difficult part of it, because they weren't planning on doing it). This is a stressful process, don't add to that by hiring someone that will only give you huge headaches (and will insist you cannot tell them what to do - you, the person who is paying for the job - because they "don't have a boss". This is the type of argument you have with these guys!). You've been warned.

Really nice guys. They care about their work and their reputation. They come back and rectify issues that may crop up if you're not fully satisfied at first. I wish them every success.

I would absolutely recommend Edvin and the team at Interstar. They helped renovate my flat in Grove Park and have been very reliable over the last couple of years when small jobs have arisen. Beyond this Edvin has been incredibly generous with his time and has been very easy to communicate with.
