Working with Mat is a pleasure -- he's friendly, professional, and incredibly talented. He managed to capture everything we'd envisioned -- even on an outdoor shoot in London weather :) -- and did a beautiful editing job on our favorite photos. Matt and Anna took publicity pictures for my first book and I was so happy with the results. I looked like me but better. They went out of their way to find good places in the area to do outdoor shots and they made the whole thing a lot of fun. Highly recommend.

I used Mat Smith photography for some professional portrait photographs. The experience was a real pleasure- thorough, relaxed and creative on the day of the shoot and quick, efficient delivery of my final photograph selections. The careful way in which Mat and Anna Marie captured different moods and presentations within the photographs meant that there was a wide range from which to choose. This in turn offered great flexibility when putting together marketing material for my business. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

If there were 10 stars I would give Mat Smith a 10 star rating! I was in London on a sabbatical and was asked to provide a professional headshot from the past two years. Knowing very few people in London to ask for a recommendation of a photographer, i found Mat Smith via the internet. I hit gold! From the my initial contact to the photo shoot to the final product, I could not have wanted for more. I found both Mat and his assistant, Anna-Marie, to be highly professional, extremely accomodating and a delight to work with. This was such a rewarding experience on so many levels. Mat is a gifted photographer who took the time to get to know me. This was evident in the headshots he took that captured my essence. Mat took his time, photographed me in different settings and a change of outfits. I had a great number of excellent headshots from which to choose. I could not be more pleased with the results. I have used different photos to announce upcoming lectures and without exception, i have received the same comment about my photo from each organizer-- "beautiful"! This is the only time that I have had such comments about a headshot and their comments speak volumes of Mat's talent.!

I've needed profile photos several times over the years, and have used various photographers, including some of the best known in the business, but none has been as good as Mat Smith Photography. So when I needed a fresh batch of profile pictures, Mat was the obvious choice. Mat is a perfectionist, and both he and his assistant are sensitive. The session went smoothly and was very enjoyable, and, when I saw the end result, I was delighted with the photos.
