Ditto for the grub here:
negotiates well-trodden territory without any recourse to the artisanal - fair portion, reasonable price, plain + simple and all the better for it.
Here VEGAN translates as a lone Linda McCartney vegetarian sausage, peas and a wallop of chips = touch !
