An independent business with a wide selection of wines. Recently visited to buy wine we chose at Christmas. Not in stock but promptly told us she would get it in and be available in a few days. Very helpful.

If you're looking for a grear bottle of wine (or 12) you cannot go wrong with a visit to champion wines. The staff are so so so knowledgeable and don't make you feel like an idiot for your lack of! If you've got a variant in mind they'll show you bottles in your price range, and if you don't really know what you like they'll give educated suggestions that almost always hit the spot. The cheeses are fantastic too, and can't stop by without picking up some quince jelly too! I know there are cheaper options in the supermarket and even Majestic around the corner, but you just cannot get the same level of expertise there nor the range of tried and tested. Highly recommend, and we will visit again soon for sure.

Just visited Champion Wines, And was greeted by Penny, Who makes you feel very welcome. Penny's knowledge of wine is vast and led us to the type of wine styles that we like, And recommended wines to try. Would definitely recommend a visit to Champion Wines. So many fine wines to choose from.
