Good range of equipment but is quite dated. (The seat padding has sunk on some weight machines) gym area can feel stuffy when air con isn't on. Pool area is good. Big jacuzzi. There are some changing cubicles with broken locks since last year which haven't yet been fixed. You'd expect better if this is classed as a 'Tier 1' gym and charging 80 - 100 a month. It's not the worst gym in the world by any means but could be better. UPDATE: They have now closed the jacuzzi indefinitely as it cost them too much to run with the energy bills but instead of having this reflected in the monthly fee, they actually increased the price of their memberships. So pay more and get less. I have now left.

Had an awful experience where a staff member shouted at me across the reception, before I was entering a class. I had signed in, changed, then went to put my clothes in the car and when returned was questioned about signing in. The staff member answered back in such a rude manner, when I had done nothing wrong. She then proceeded to shout at me! Gave me such anxiety about going back in that gym. I went into my class crying and have never been back. Appalling customer service. Facilities are dated and there are constant issues with the hot water.

What can I say, I've been a member for over 2 years and originally I loved the vibe of the club as it's tucked into a local woodland just off the Sidcup Bypass. This really could be the ideal location to come to work out and most importantly to relax if the gym could get the basics right. I have had my fair share of run-in with the staff over the last 2 years, most are extremely polite but god forbid you bring up any issues. You'll normally have a manager jump right down your neck plus if you complain to HQ they just send it back to the club to deal with so nothing gets resolved. After the covid period the gym staff were still obsessed with protocols and regularly abused COSHH regulations by leaving harmful chemicals lying around the site for members to clean down machines. When I complained about this I was made to feel like I was the one with the problem. Staff even used to put anti-foamer in the spa pool while guests were bathing in the water, ridiculous. Now onto the spa.... I loved this spa, the jacuzzi was great for my mental health and the power jet was perfect for any muscle pain after workouts. Taking away the jacuzzi was the single most painful part of the last 2 years for me. At first it was about saving money and then the truth came out last week about the company pushing for net zero by 2030. Woke businesses don't get my money and the fact that they didn't offer a reduction in the membership showed that this was definitely a 'don't like it then leave' move. While I was at the club on the last day of Feb the staff were told to offer member cancellations and they tried to tell me I'd need to pay another month. I cancelled my DD instead. They informed the membership just 24 hours before our banks would have been locked in for another pay run on our accounts. This has been handled very poorly by Nuffield and sadly as much as this gym has a lot of potential, they really need to give it some love. It's not a 80-100 a month gym, it's a pound shop David Lloyd.
