Cannot get through on the phone. Get put in a queue of 20 for over an hour!

Went for the first time last week, 1st class. The doc confirmed I had an infected appendix, sent me home saying if it gets worse got to A&E in the afternoon. It did get worse, I was in the A&E waiting room and received a call from the doctor to see how I was getting on. When he knew the situation he called the hospital directly and got me booked into the surgical assessment unit so I didn't have to wait. I can't thank you enough.

Absolutely useless. I have received a letter from the NHS prescription service apparently stating my name has been listed for free prescriptions even tho I have always paid. Been in the surgery to get an explanation only for them to take a photo copy and say they will deal with it. Concerned as that for a long while they would only take cash as payment .... . Who has forged my signature for example????? I have always paid and collected my repeat prescriptions with never signing anything to say im exempt from payment... they have also now a month later failed to respond to my email requesting them to contact me that was five days ago and also I've now had a second letter with a fine of 56 pounds for an apparent prescription I had without paying.i am Absolutely discusted with there lack of management or care .. I will be taking this further with a solicitor if necessary. Hopefully someone may read this review and maybe contact me , but judging by the fact there is no direct line to the surgery and the fact you wait in a queue for hours threw to wroughton I'm not holding my breath ...
