        Delicious pies, had one steak and ale and one vegan chickpea and ale pie. Fortunately the vegan pie had a half moon on the top to reduce the risk of me eating something vegan.

        Awful service by a rude old man. Abrupt and unhelpful. Try some customer service training before serving the public! I cant see him getting much returning trade. Average food at best , way over priced. Do yourself a favour and eat elsewhere. Very disappointing!

        Incredibly rude chap behind the counter for a starter! I don't expect a hug, a hello how can I help wouldn't hurt? I bought a Steak, Old Hooky and Mushroom pie @8.50, to be frank, I've found more Steak in a cheese sandwich! Absolutely dreadful! Never again I'm afraid!!

        I had a pumpkin spiced pie, hubby had a lamb pie. Both were yummy and perfect to eat as we walked. Hubby said it was the best pie he had ever eaten!

        The pies are amazing and the lady is very welcoming, however the bloke is a bit miserable - stick to back-of-house maybe.
