        Walkability: The Red Lion in Long Compton sits in a great location in the Cotswolds with bridle ways and quiet roads radiating out in all directions Food & drinks: It's a great Gastropub with Mains at about 20 a plate. Local beers are well kept... at the weekend it's worth booking ahead.

        Had a lovely welcome from the hosts our room exceeded our expectations it was cosy and lovely and warm ate in the tavern both nights the food was tasty plentiful and hot also have to praise the staff who were very friendly and helpful and literally nothing was too much trouble would recommend this place next time we go to the cotswolds we will book here
