Ridiculous location. This is supposed to be the "local" archive for Salisbury and South Wiltshire. A very large proportion of the UK has easier access to this location than South Wiltshire and that's the area its suppose to serve. When they relocated "local" archives here, they should have made separate arrangements for a "twin" facility in the South of Wiltshire.

This is one of the better local archives. The system of ordering and receiving documents is more efficient than most other archives and the staff are less authoritarian.
