We were very surprised having read the reviews to find such a horrible, dirty, outdated place. The building is vile and the walkway to the room was horrific! The room itself was something out of a nightmare, never seen such a dirty room with stains on the walls, stained duvets and dirty toilets, not to mention the fact there was a 20cm gap under out door. The accommodation was not sound proof and can hear every little noise. Overall we were horrifed and could not bear to stay any longer and left. Would not let my worst enemy stay here.

Lovely wee place to stay. A friend and I were in town for a tournament last minute and needed a place to stay, The Pines was available and affordable so we booked. When we arrived the person at the front desk showed us to our room & helped carry my bag up, very thoughtful. The room was a good size, warm, & had a mini fridge which was great. The bed was very comfortable. If I'm back in the area in future I'll definitely stay again.
