Absolutely horrific place. Terrible midwives, rude, don't have the time for you, rush you, they don't take your worries seriously. I was high risk for the first three months and they honestly didn't care less about my anxieties. One midwife said the Doppler wasn't working so couldn't do the heartbeat... So I had to tell her to go and get another Doppler! I've had several losses so hearing a heartbeat is essential! I had lack of movements and called, when I finally got through the midwife was so abrupt and said 'i suppose you're going to want seeing then'...Well yes Sue, of course I want seeing! That's your job. I would never have a baby and use Chippenham birthing centre again, ever. Traumatic, stressful, and beyond all, unsafe. Unfortunately, every other mother who has used this place has had the same experience. There's something going drastically wrong here.

Would of given 0 stars if I could. Horrible midwives, I felt judged and un cared for. Was very ill during this pregnancy and the midwives weren't interested at all, even asked me why I didn't have an abortion as I had concerns and felt unwell ! Found them un professional and rude. Avoid if possible and if you must attend here and have concerns that aren't being listened to , seek your doctors help as the midwives here really don't care.

Feel some of the midwifes can become quite ruled , and sometimes make you feel your being silly when being concerned about things you feel might worry you. Couple times Ive rang up and felt they were just very bult and ruled and not feeling they really wanted to help me. Another time I had some bleeding and got told Im sure everything fine . Although I got told this last time and sadly we lost are daughter at 20 weeks. Im not impressed there properly only two midwifes we love there and feel really comfortable with. But feel they need to change they way they come across too us as worried mothers of fathers.

Had my heart set on having my daughter in bath (special water or something along those lines!?) but due to having my baby April 2020 I chose to stay close to home. Absolutely no regrets, the midwifes, nurses and everyone in between all fantastic. Had my daughter within 2 hours and back home again in 5! I was so grateful of my experience there I even managed to inadvertently persuade my friend to also go there instead of bath and again all absolutely brilliant. If any of the lovely ladies are to read this- thank you so so much for your kindness, patience and undeniable expertise. I will never forget the feeling of taking my daughter home for the first time and so much of that is simply because of the great care your team provided while we were with you- Thank you again!
