Oakhouse Foods

I live alone and tried the Oakhouse welcome pack. The meals, apart from the one today have been very nice. The meal today was their roast chicken dinner, the gravy was watery, the roast spuds soggy and the sliced chicken was rubbery. Very disappointing. However the other meals I have tried were nice (particularly the sweet and sour chicken)and I look forward to trying the other meals in the pack. The deal was very reasonable with 7 meals for around 20.00 so cant really complain. Not sure yet if I would want to pay the full prices.

We had the pured meals for my grandfather when he was suffering from dementia. It was such a relief to find meals which were nutritious, looked nicer than other pured food and he really enjoyed the taste when he had gone off other food. They do ring each week to see if you want anything in their next delivery but we found this really helpful as we were needing them regularly. The customer service made life easier for us and the food made life more enjoyable for him.

I HAVE ORDERED GLUTEN FREE SELECTION AND BOOKED DELIVERY FOR MONDAY YESTERDAY BUT THE ITEMS WERE NOT DELIVERED DUE TNO DRIVER....HENCE A FEW HURS WASTED SO NOW THEY OWE ME A FULL REFUND. THEY SHOULD NOT ADVERTISE IF THEY CANNOT PROVIDE A FULL SERVICE. THEY OWE ME A FULL REFUND NOW. MORE TIME CHASING INCOMPETENT SERVICE

Have tried OAKHOUSE meals ,very tasty ,I chose mini meals as have poor appetite ,but mini meals too small not enough gravy veg is uncooked, I would recommend larger TURKY dinners ,pork dinner very good ,deserts nice but only 1 cherry in pudding, I will continue to order but the bigger meals. Sea if I am happy with them .
