        Really wonderful staff. Shame that during The Queen's Funeral they were expected to turn up even though the store was shut. No way to treat your workforce. Shame on you Co Op.

        Quite upmarket, but mainly seems just different now, because so many other retailers have also gone upmarket in this region. Sandwiches are a bit pricey; other products seem reasonable. It's not as different as you would expect, this being a cooperative rather than a traditional privately limited-liability company. There are a lot of community-orientated initiatives, but even those have been matched by other food retailers.

        Small but clean and well stocked with prices that compete well with larger supermarkets. Fresh bakery products and good range of fruit, veg, frozen food and wines.
