Diane altered my dress for my wedding and shortened another 5 dresses. She was very professional. Her alteration room is an extension to the side of the house. She has a lovely dog but keeps it out of the work area. It is gated off. She did a wonderful job and completed within a couple of days. She measured each dress separately. My husband will be going to her to shorten his trousers. Good value for money. Please don't let negative comments put you off. Service: Wedding gown alterations

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Please do not take your wedding dress to this lady. If you actually want a knowledgeable seamstress please avoid Diane. She works out of her back room, which is absolutely freezing and covered in dirt and dog hair, that I literally had to step over, in my dress, to avoid. She will tell you that the alterations are so difficult and that it will cost a fortune to fix (my dress was only complicated in her opinion). She will then proceed with the alterations despite clearly not having the know how and almost completely destroy your dress. (She literally had other wedding dresses hanging up that other brides had given up on because of her) She blamed the dress shop for ordering me the wrong size, all though, now I see, it was just her incompetence that was the problem. I stupidly paid this woman, and when I asked, very politely, to discuss the possibility of a PARTIAL refund, her response was absolutely disgusting. So now, not only am I down 100 to this lady (i will he disputing with my bank), I will have to pay my new seamstress to undo EVERYTHING this lady did to my dress. I am so lucky that I got it out of there in time. She even admitted to me that she tries to find the quickest solution, rather than the best one (i literally have proof of this) My new seamstress is charging much less for much higher quality work.
