After meeting with many architects we chose Elkins to design our new build family home due to their enthusiasm and excitement about the project, as well their undoubted expertise. This enthusiasm never waned throughout the whole process and we could not be happier with the result. Their creative design far exceeded our expectations and has given us a family home we could not have dared to dream of. It was, however, their professionalism in negotiating the planning process, liaising on our behalf with the bank and tightly managing the whole build process that left us feeling particularly grateful. After years of watching horror stories on Grand Designs the fact we came in on budget was a relief and a delight. Building a house is a challenging process. Throw in a global pandemic and it becomes even more so. Elkins navigated us through all the challenges and have left us with a dream forever home. We could honestly not recommend them enough.

We engaged Elkins to design a second storey extension to our c.1750 home and Rich and the team couldn't have done a better job. Through several meetings with the lead architect they designed exactly what we wanted and we were consulted on every stage of the meticulous planning process. They went above and beyond to help us negotiate the requirements of local planning department and ensured the plans were sympathetic to the aesthetics of our house while also providing us with much needed extra space. They were always available on the phone, whether it was for a quick chat to clarify a point from a meeting or to change our minds about something....! Totally professional, highly qualified and experienced and would absolutely recommend.
