Magic cut

Nice guys but cut way shorter than I asked for so I was quite disappointed.

If you're looking for an honest review, you've found it. I don't have anything crazy here, I have a low #1 on the sides and back, and blend it up into the top. The front is longer than the rest of the hair and swept to one side. Again, nothing crazy, but you need to understand how to cut hair and how to read hair for it to look half decent. I always come back here when I've tried somehwere new and it hasn't worked out. I've read through the 1* reviews and I am confused how people can give 1* for some of the reasons they've given... End of the day the barber will do what you tell them, and if you come once and it hasn't worked, then the second time be super specific on what you're asking for. Have pictures and ask the barber if they can cut that hair, or if your hair is suitable for the photo. Also, consider using your finger to show where you want the fade to begin (for example) so that the expectation is there visually as well as verbally. They cut hair all day so don't feel you can't tell them if it's not quite right or if you're unhappy. They won't know they've done wrong if you don't say something. I don't think it's fair to come onto Google give a 1* review because the fade is higher than expected... That seems more like a power trip on the review to hurt the business. You can almost guarantee these customers don't tell the barber to their face. In fact I bet they even leave a tip, and then walk away and complain behind their mobile. It doesn't have to be confrontational, but if you're unhappy and not got the guys to tell them then don't leave a bad review instead. It's just wimpy. The cut is a good cut. It's not going to blow your socks off for 18, but have a decent expectation and you'll be glad you did. Best cut I've had in Chinnor so far and I've been here 3 times and I'm happy each time. The only reason I go elsewhere is I also like to get a wash and all the works as I tend to go to work afterwards, so I like to pay more and be ready for the day afterwards as well.
