Beautiful place. Some amazing walks for your dogs. The owner liz has made the dog friendly cottage look lovely. Definitely worth staying there

Stayed with our two dogs for a week in May. Super comfortable living space in a lovely location. Would recommend for the dog friendliness and very helpful owner. Very convenient public footpath directly opposite for off lead walks.

Absolutely spot on dog friendly cottage, nothing is to much trouble from the friendly owner, spare dog bowls, dog leads even dog food in the cupboard if you forgot yours.Couldnt have wished for anything better with local walks & dog friendly pubs in walking distant.

We have just returned from a short break away and stayed at Silk Hill stables, we were greeted by Liz on arrival and she made us feel so welcome. The cottage was beautiful and spotlessly clean, it smelt so clean and fresh and I couldn't fault the cleanliness. There was everything you could possibly need and it was so well equipped, there were so many lovely touches such as fresh bread jam and butter as well as wine, clairs and fresh milk in the fridge (thank you ) We had booked with Liz after asking if we could possibly bring our 5 small dogs and Liz was so kind and accomadating and our dogs felt so at home straight away and it was so lovely to not have to worry about them as the courtyard was lovely and secure. The cottage is in a beautiful area with lovely walks and a very welcoming pub a short walk away (very steep hill for those with mobility issues so I'd recommend that you went in the car the short distance) It was so lovely to be able to relax and enjoy ourselves and Liz has taken so much care in ensuring that there is everything that you might need even down to a little box on the bathroom for little things you might have forgotten. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need. We also used the menu left in the kitchen and ordered a Chinese Liz really has thought of everything... We would highly recommend this beautiful cottage if you have pets and need a quiet break away. Thank you so much Liz x
