Our son has been attending the nursery for almost two years. He can be quite shy at times and take a while to warm up to different environments and people, but he loves his nursery class. The classroom staff are brilliant, they are caring, thoughtful and kind. During the pandemic, the nursery has been very careful and also very accommodating of parents needs and circumstances.

This is a small nursery with a lovely, homely feel. I viewed three other nurseries but this one stood out to me and my mum (who is a retired primary school teacher). My daughter settled in very easily here and is always happy to go. The nursery has a well thought out policy/procedure for everything and are very professional and organised. The carers are warm and friendly, and the managers are efficient and responsive. We also receive a lot of communication from the nursery. We have zero concerns about sending our daughter here and are so glad we chose this lovely nursery.

Our daughter has been attending since she was 9mo. She's now moved up through 3 different rooms, and we always found the staff in each room very thoughtful, attentive, and caring. We receive detailed feedback each day about what she was doing, eating and how she was feeling. The list of activities children do each day is veried and interesting. The toys are high quality, predominantly wooden, Montessori-style. Children spend time outside most days, with different play area dedicated to different age groups. The only thing that springs to mind that could be improved is decor - it's a bit tired; and some rooms seem small / crowded. To me, it's of secondary importance compared to the other points listed above.

So we went for a viewing for our 1 year old. The second we walked through the doors it was a no from me. Absolutely filthy, not in one area absolutely every single part. It just was filthy, actually shocking to be honest! Met a couple staff: they were polite enough but really lacked warmth. which also put me off! The look overall: It's dark and dreary and personally I feel resembled a prison for kids no bright colours just not nice/fun or cute at all! I felt claustrophobic and went out. I'm sorry the place completely doesn't justify 86 daily fees. I wouldn't send my baby if it was 20 a day. However I'm sure the staff are more than capable... But on first impressions I actually hated the place from the 2nd I walked in I said to my partner no way! My Daughter went to a bright horizons in Epping for years but this one does not even begin to compare. Such a shame It was a perfect location from work for me, but I definitely will be looking elsewhere. Heaps of improvement needed in my opinion especially to justify the fees. I think though everyone needs to make up there own mind. There are lots of children go there so the parents must be happy with something. Just for me I expect a lot more.

I was trying to find the words to put how I felt about this nursery after the personal tour and then I read the previous reviewers comment. Its exactly how I felt. Staff were nice enough but it seemed like they lacked any warmth which I think is needed when working with young kids. The morning we visited was quiet warm and the nursery was boiling hot. I nearly passed out. All I kept on thinking about is 'poor kids and staff members'! No one looked happy there which is strange! The place also needs some improvement on the outside and inside. I was looking forward to visiting bright horizons Chingford as it was my first choice but as soon as we stepped out, my husband and I both said no. As previous reviewer wrote, they must be doing something right as its popular and it has outstanding from Ofsted but it was just not the right feel for us. Anyways, we were promised a price list was going to be emailed to us and to this day we are still waiting.
