I have been a runner for many years and as the aging process has caught up with me I've battled several injuries along the way, never quite getting to the bottom of the issues with different physios. Feel so fortunate to have discovered Glen Lewis at Butler physiotherapy so close to home. Glen has provided both treatment and preventative therapy, helping me to reach my goal of 7 gruelling trail half marathons in 6 months! Thanks to Glen's clear and concise diagnosis and resulting programme I now feel like I have the tools I need to continue running for many years to come. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the practice to friends and family (and already have!)

Glen Lewis has worked wonders with me. I'm a masters athlete and he's got me back on track, taking into account my personal situation, goals and limitations. Certainly not an 'off the shelf approach'. Glen has focused on developing strength where it matters, treating the root cause of the issue not just short term symptons. I'm happy to follow his mantra of 'Trust the Process', it works.

I've had a number of tennis-related injuries and always go to Butler Physio. I've seen both Stuart and Glen and they explain everything so well, set clear recovery/strengthening tasks and plans. The office/surgery is well equipped and it's easy to park outside or nearby. There's also great comradery between the staff. My last injury was to my leg (soleus) and the treatments & strengthening tasks gave me full confidence for my post recovery return to tennis. I decided to wait before writing this review until I'm back playing tennis - which was delayed due to COVID - so I'm now back happily playing with all the confidence in the world. My only regrets relating to going to Butler Physio was leaving it too long after injury before going. Many thanks Butler Physiotherapy!

Glen Lewis has been fantastic in supporting me return to running following 2 stress fracture/related injuries this year. Glen took the time to understand the cause of this issue to not only just treat it, but also prevent it happening again and allow me to optimise my running when I return. It also helps that Glen himself is a keen runner! Due to the guidance Glen has provided to me, I feel better equipped to know how to avoid stress related running injuries moving forward. Whilst I hope I don't have any more injuries, should this happen again in the future I will not hesitate to contact Glen. Without a doubt my 'go to' physio and happilly recommend him to friends and family. I should add that I actually heard about Glen via recommendation myself.
