Ed is a great engineer to work with. His approach to get the best possible performance out of the musician is key to what makes SDOS a brilliant place to record. He's very chilled out, professional, and makes you feel as relaxed as possible. Ed really works with the musicians to get the sound they want. The environment is really great, it's not stuffy like some places, and really gives you some great sound with whichever instrument(s) you're using. I cannot recommend this place enough, and with Ed's very competitive prices, you'd be silly not to come here first!

Very easy to work with and was more than happy with the out come of our first project together which was then aired on the BBC a week after completion. Will be using again for our album 100% recommended.

Beautiful secluded setting means you can concentrate on your rehearsals or recording without interruption. The studio is well catered for both, with friendly and very knowledgeable staff close at hand to help and offer their expertise as and when needed. I cannot fault this studio in any way. Ed makes you feel at home instantly which is fantastic when you have the pressures of recording to deadlines. Highly recommended.

Amazing outboard gear made better by attention to detail from Ed when recording. Ed changed my view on recording and quality and its set in an amazing surrounding. What more could you want from a studio?
