Incredibly scary, Very unsafe area, the price is not worth it, go somewhere else.
I was given a room key and when I got to my room the door would not lock, it was broken. I was also followed down the corridor by a drunk man and there were leery creepy men everywhere. Went to reception to be told there were no more rooms and they couldn't refund me but they could offer a room in another Travelodge 30mins walk away instead!?
Unacceptable.
I paid for three nights in advance and left 30 mins after arriving, no refund because I wouldnt take a room they deemed acceptable - a room with a broken lock!
higher ups need to look at this place. It is in a terrible state and I was treated disgustingly in the situation by management. Appalling.
